I?m new her , This is my case , My son is studying medicine at a University in Europe 2nd year , what do you thing If I?m planning to apply for immigration in Dec.
It will take a long time I know, but what I?m asking for is the best way for him.
Is possible to leave him to continue at his university or transfer him to a Canadian University, which the best choice and what about the tuition fee.
Please advice me.

Hi Karim,
The info you give is limited so not sure whether my response will help you. Nevertheless, let me try. You seem most concerned about your son and the possibility of getting some credit for the years he will have done studying medecine in Europe once you immigrate to Canada. If you apply this Dec, depending on what office you are applying through, you are talking about roughly 1-4 years wait before the application process is over. In most European coutries, medical studies are between 6-10 years. Your son is in his 2nd year now, so, he will more likely not be finished by the time the PR comes through. You have 2 choices: delay your application, or be ready for your son to be set back a few years in his study. It is not easy to transfer medical studies credits from Europe to Canada, from what I know. You could try to get in touch with a couple medical schools in Canada and ask how they would process a person with 3-4 years med school from Europe (specify the country), would they accept the classes he has already taken... and see what they say...
