Hi,
My wife has got her passport request letter on the 21st july... i wanted to know if that means they are done with all the background and security checks and she is almost through...
And why does it take a long gap after submitting passports to recieve them back

I think your wife´s case is almost done....it seems to take some time at some embassies to get the passport back, though.
My wife was lucky....she was told NOT to send the passport and to go in person. She went and got it in less than 30 minutes. It was so easy but that will not be the same case in every country.

Hi,
Vishal can you pls more specific about your time line.
I think your wife case almost "Decision made" but i heard in some case they call for interview after PP request.
But as per my understanding if one of them has divorce or in common-law relationship in past, coming from totally diffrent community etc...

Nope mine is a pretty straight case...
We had an arranged marriage and we submitted all the documents supporting the same...
We where single before marriage and had no such issues
