hi kenny,
Good day. I have a quick question for you. I saw a person with similar name in immigrationportal.com giving lot of suggestions and tips. thought you mignht be a consultant, so iam shooting my question for you.
1. iam an in canada applicant ( student) who applied for immigration in july 2004, IA in march 2005, medicals and documents submitted in mid april 2005. I asked ottawa for my status about medicals on end of june 2005. On july 4, 2005 my e-client changed to medicals received and on july 7, 2005 i received a fax from ottawa saying that my medicals has been forwarded to buffalo. I was expecting a passport request, but have not heard anything from CIC for last 3 weeks. Now my question is what do you think is going on with my case?? Does the change in e-client indicate anything???I was thinking of ordering caips but want to wait till my 5th month after medicals is over.Your views are appreciated..
Others who is well versed with the process can also pitch in with their comments..

It´s good news, Any way you would get your pp request within couple of weeks.
I have a question, as you might know I am also in same boat.
How did you contacted Ottawa and did they repply by fax ?
I would appreicate if you could give me nice words draft same as you had contacted to Ottawa- pls. also give me their fax No.

I wrote to the ottawa guys to the address listed on the medical forms we received ( a very polite letter asking for details whether my medicals were sent for buffalo, but thanking them for all their efforts etc.. (skills learned while acquiring ph.d)) and also gave my fax number to respond.
They got back to me in a week or so.make sure you proofread your letter with canadian guys if your english is not good before sending it. Good luck andy.I hope things work out for you..

Hi Boss,
I am not a consultant but a prospective immigrant just like you and am currently waiting for interview in NY.
Anyway regarding your case I have seen, in forums like these, that generally applicants in Buffalo get their passport request in a couple of weeks after their e-client mentions that medical has been received. So hopefully you should get it soon.
