| Subject: Fingerprint Deadline |
Hi...I read a lot of posts that mentioned about the fingerprint deadline....what is the deadline? is it the interview date?..sorry if I sound ignorant...I really am... : ) thanks

Just a way to get the prints back by a certain date. I think that it used to be that you´d send in FBI prints AFTER your application (maybe that´s your situation?); in that case, I suppose CIC gave a deadline to submit them by. Now, though, we have to submit them WITH our application, so there really isn´t an actual deadline, other than maybe one´s own personal one. If you give them a date about 3 weeks out, they´ll likely get it to you by your requested date. FBI customer service told me that all letters they receive have to go through stringent security (makes sense) which takes about 10 business days. So you dont´ want to give them a "deadline" too close. Hope that helps!

I am confused. I got my AOR ON mar 05, but have not started the finger print thing yet. You think I should go ahead and get it done now or wait till IA/interview?
