I travel up to canada every weekend to visit my wife and son and have been doing so for four years now. Can i apply for PR in canada our do i have to be living there to do so. Thank you.

(in reply to: Appling in canada or outside in the US) No. Your specific visa office instructions will tell you where you will get your medicals done. Presumably you are in the US; therefore, look at the Buffalo visa office website, and it will refer you to your medical options. CIC allows only specific doctors to perform immigration medicals. You don´t have to worry about this until well into your application process; CIC will keep you well informed. Good luck!

My husband is Canadian citizen, and I am US citizen, and for my medicals, we set up an appointment with a canadian dr. We had no problems gettin med exam done. Hope this helps.
