Why Delhi CHC taking time to return back the Passport.I had send the PP on 22nd June still no news...........
Weather they are doing the BG check after Passport request?
Any idea

Nobody does background check at all after passport request and it is senseless to do that.
If you don´t get in 40 days fax them.

Hi,
Its not just you believe there a lot of applicants who are awaiting there spouse visa and who have submitted applicaton on june 1st and june 16th....
Just hang in there and keep patience.... its just a matter of time....
I am also awaiting the passport return ....

I have said this lots of times that ND has this procedure of asking for the passports upfront i.e. way before any check is done!
Its not like other CHCs that passports are asked when the visa is ready to be issued!
So, just relax and wait! it can take upto 2-3 months for the passport to get back to u, after u submitted it!
