| Subject: How long for VISA after PP request - Singapore? |
After waiting 6 months since we applied, my wife has finally been asked for her Passport by Singapore. Could anyone share how long it takes this office to process the visa after they have recieved PP?

could you please tell your timeline and confirm if she applied under family class?
I am curious about it, since my case was transferred from missisauga to singapore long ago (2 months) but got no response from them yet.
I guess huge backlog case of family class makes such a high waiting period. Also the increasing number of student visa applicants can´t be ignored, as their case has to be finished within academic timeline. Ultimately the family class files are placed behind.

I applied in Singapore and I got my visa in 12 days after PP request. I sent the passports by DHL and received the same way. Hope it helps.

We did our medicals before sending app so it sped things up.
Thanks HC. That helps a lot.
Our problem is that my wife is traveling out of country for school at the end of Aug for 2 months and needs her passport. Furthermore Singapore sent the PPR to me in Canada which I must now forward to her before she can take any action. There is chance we could blow the deadline...so I have faxed a letter to them explaining the situation and hoping for some flexibility on their part.
