Hi. I need some advice as tp how this works. My boyfriend and I want to get married,he lives in Rome and I live here in Canada. What do we need to do.. what forms do we have to fill out and how long is the proces?? Does anyone know if he sponsored me in Rome if we HAVE to get married,,, is it easier in Italy then Can??
PLEASE, I could use ALL the advice possible.

I live in Canada also, I married my husband in Morocco then returned to Canada to start the immigration process, you have to be able to prove to Citizenship and Immigration that you have a legitimate marriage and not one of convenience..keep phone records, proof of correspondence between one another, any gifts or letters between you..My application has been processed and approved so I have not had any problems!! It is better if you are married.
