We intend to apply for Immigration to Canada my Wife will be the applicant and I the spouse.
I have not worked for a few years through Arthritas and depression I take medication for both and been through therapy for both. I am out the other side now I do not see a psychologist and my Arthritas is under control. Will I blow our chances ? I hope not Life in the U.K is on a slippery slope.

arthritis and immigration (in reply to: Arthritas and Immigration.) the first question you must answer is if your wife qualifies as a skilled worker. There are many sites that can help you make that determination. there is room in the application for a spouse to add value to the application but not that much.
Both you and your wife will need to pass a medical exam. Arthritis is not a communicable sickness - that is there biggest concern. As for your depression, if it is under control through medication, I think they would take this into consideration. Their biggest concern is that your situation would cost the government money to care for you. That is what they try to avoid.
