We are looking at these two mid sized cities in Alberta and Manotiba, and advice and why.

Both are very friendly cities. Both cities have very cold winters and very hot summers. Edmonton is in a area of the country with a very strong economy and depending on what kind of work you do, there may be better job opportunities. If I had to choose... I would pick Edmonton.

Alberta has lower income tax and no provincial sales tax, and as mentioned, has a very strong economy at the moment. Winnipeg is known to have very friendly people and a very low cost of living. If you have a chance, visit both cities and decide. They are about the same in terms of weather.
