Isabella, Your response was very nice and well explained.

I had one more question, as you advised me to request for CAIPS 2 months from medicals, I don´t know whether it is 2 months from doing medicals or 2 months from the day the medicals reached Ottawa. (because my medical was sent after 35 days to Ottawa).

Once we request for CAIPS, how long do they take to send it? Is there a phone or address to reach Ottawa to confirm medicals?

Just for others´ reference, my timeline:

AOR Jul ´04
IA Apr ´05
Medicals May ´05 (reached Ottawa June ´05)
ROLF encashed in June ´05

Sorry I dont know of any phone number etc for ottawa.

As per my caips notes it took exactly 45 days from the day I took the test to my medicals checked as M01 in the notes.

Mine took 40 days...I will leave this one to HELL for comment, as some websites claim to have faster services at a premium. I never shopped around for caips.

CAIPs take 30-45 days in average: one week to reach the destination, 2 weeks (+/- for processing) and one week to get it back.
First time we bought a money order for 5$, after that just put a personal cheque (it was cashed 2-3 days ago). Request sent as a regular mail.
All information available:

And as I told you, if they would find some inconsistence or something, they will reach you on the phone.

What are all these abreviations (in reply to: Students in Canada - Lets compare CAIPS (part-2))
Hello what are these abreviations BFD, PP, IA, PA, ON, and what is CAIPS.

I did medicals in November, interview in march and has been asked to submit RPRF which I did five weeks ago and up to now am still waiting and no word so far. I started in September 2004 is this a normal time to process???

Also, yes there is a phone number to phone for medicals if you go to Medical Services Ottawa you get the number I dont have it at hand. I called them and they told me that my medicals were sent to Buffalo.
