Subject: Night Market at Richmond B.C
I went last weekend and i thought it was okay. There were too many ppl selling the same thing but the food was good. just dont eat the japanese squid balls, it´s not actually squid balls, its just balls of soft batter with a peice of squid in it.

The stuff sold there are mostly imported from cheap factories in China. They (usually immigrants) bring it here and make a wooping profit of about 300-500%. Not to mention this is in Canadian dollar too. In addition the stuff sold there aren´t too good and you can´t guarantee the quality. Then again...it´s a night market.....guess cheap bargains are what you want when you go there lol..

I only go for the atmosphere and to show visitors around. not really consider purchasing any stuff.Food is bloody expensive if you keep buying here and there. It all adds up. However, it does feel more like in Asia than Canada.

I guess if you have any connection back to your home country and wanna do more trade and find some employment opporunities, Richmond Night market actually might make you some profit I guess.

The only thing I am concern is recently container labour dispute, which limited the stuff was sell over the night market.
