Subject: QUICK QUESTIONS BEFORE SENDING APPLICATION

Hi eveyone

I am getting ready to send the application in to start the process. I am sending it in a few weeks, but have a few questions to ask,

on a question asking if either patners gave gifts, do that mean on our first meeting, or does that mean throughout our relationship?

do we have to write Not applicable on the common law or conjugal partner relationship , even though it tells us to move on to question 20-23 if the common law or conjugal partner section is not applicable to us?

how should we submit the supporting documents? do we put them in envelopes labelled or attach them to the section that they best support?

thanks for your time

Hi NIRA DIAMANT

I think the gifts refer to first meeting. That is how we interpreted it.

write Not Applicable there and move to the next section....you can never have too many NOT APPLICABLES

We divided our application into 4 sections...using big paper clips and plastic folders.

One was SPONSOR APPLICATION
Two was APPLICANT APPLICATION
Three was SPONSOR SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS
Four was APPLICANT SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS

Make sure the application is neat and clear and easily accesible. If you have extra pages to further explain things, make sure they are clearly labeled and they are attached, by paperclip, to the sheet it refers to.

Extra supporting documents can go in an extra folder. Make sure each document is labeled in the top left corner. It must have page it refers to and question it refers to.
The specific instructions are in the manual.
If it is NEAT, and IN ORDER...they should have no trouble with it.If there job is easy they are in a better mood and they work faster.

I hope this helps.
Our process from Mississauga to Visa in my wife´s hand lasted about 4 1/2 months.
I told you how we did our application. Others will have different ideas. Our package was never sent back and they never asked for extra documents and interview was waived.

Good luck to you!
Any more questions please ask.

Hi

to proof your relationship you can send pictures of you guys, phone bills, emails. you know, ´the kissing pictures´ and pictures of you guys having a good time. this will help proof to immigration that your relationship is lasting. you can also send msn convo, if you guys talk on msn.

my husband and i are just about ready to send the application and we are sending around 70 pictures, phone bills, letters, msn convos and emails we wrote to eachother.

basically send anything that shows that you were and that you are in contact with your partner.

hope this helps
keep me posted
good luck to you both
