Hello
I am emailing you to tell you thanks for your advice. It helped clear things up.
I just have a couple quick question,
you mentioned that the process for your wife to get the visa took about 4 and a half months, were is she from?
also were you just sponsoring her?
I am also sort of concerned about the income requirment, i am a student sponsoring my husbund from Mexico. While going to school this Jan i will work part time or full time depending on school. On the application it states that we do not have to meet an income requirment if just sponsoring your spouse. of course i will work, but i do not make a large income. is their a real income requirment, or do i have nothing to worry about?
on the application i explained on an extra sheet of paper that my husbund and i are young and can live without thousands of dollars, and explained that both of us will work and wants i graduate i will work with a better salary.

Hi Nira
My wife is from Poland and I was just sponsoring her.
If you are just sponsoring your husband, there is NO income requirement. Do not worry. I am currently back in Canada looking for a job. I explained my situation to CIC in the application and I was approved to sponsor. No worries about your income level.
Your explanation on the extra sheet will be helpful. When in doubt, write an explanation. Our application package was 3.3 pounds.....we explained many things and added many photos and other documents. We wanted to make sure that there was no doubt about our relationship and about my ability to earn money.
I hope you are less stressed and I also hope everything will progress smoothly. If it is all in order, everything will be OK.
I will keep my fingers crossed.
