Subject: no IA but decision made! (Sharon help!)
  Hi all,

I received AOR around 8/20/2004. Then,I received 2nd letter (not IA) claming there is a delay. Couple days ago, I checked cic website and it changed to "decision made". I have not sent medicals nor police clearence. I am currently studying in the U.S. I have lived in the U.S. for almost 10 years (got B.S., M.S., and doing Ph.D right now). Do you think it´s a good or bad news? I am very surprised to find this out. Have you guys seen case like mine? I would appreciate any advice. Thank you so much for your time.

Hi Daniel,
As soon as I saw your post, I checked e-client, and I found exact same word on mine. I haven´t received IA or anything since I got AOR (They started processing my file on the 12th of Aug., 2004) I have a very bad feeling on this. I´ve been living in Canada as a student for 5yrs, but I don´t have Master degree like you.

I´ll call my immigration consultant this afternoon. Let´s sit tight and hope we will find the meaning of this out soon.

sorry to say, but sounds like a refusal...I have had similar cases come by my desk recently. If you did not do the medical and it says decision made, sorry...i´ll keep you posted if buffalo replies with regards to reopening these type of files if new information applies.
