Subject: AOR Comment Pls read and answer
  hello folks:

The other day I was looking at my AOR papers. I sent my App in Oct 28/04 , the register receipt from CIC was dated Nov 1 /04 and already included my file number, that means the create your file number as soon as they verify your application is complete that seems to take them just a couple of days.

Having said that I wonder why CIC sent me my AOR 3.5 months after ( feb 16/05)they created the file number, what did it take so long???

The other thing in the AOR is that it mentions they are reviewing applications received 36 weeks ago, so i believe is 36 weeks since they created the file number ( Nov 1) that brings to Aug 1/05 but considering the summer backlog I estimate IA will be in my mail in a month or two.

I appreciate your comments, hope some of you who applied around the same time I did, get your IA´s soon

regards
