Hi!
My wife has just received her visa and COPR form. One thing that worries me is in the item 15 FULL NAME, ADDRESS AND RELATIONSHIP OF PERSON WILLING TO ASSIST it has my name and address but says WIFE. Though it is obvious that I am her HUSBAND I am a bit confused. Does the RELATIONSHIP refers to HERS relative to ME or on the contrary? I thought my English was good enough but this one really bummed me up.
If they mistakenly put WIFE then I either have to call the Consulate, ask them to change it and face another long delay or just ignore it and leave in the hands of the Almighty.
If you were sponsored by your spouse, can you please check your COPR and let me know how it is worded?

If you have a chance to contact the CIC regarding this matter, please advise them to use the word "spouse" instead. It is such a tactical word that can equally apply in both cases (hubbie or wifey).
