Subject: To Daniel - regarding "Decision Made"on e-client
  Hi Daniel,
Unfortunately, this morning I received a refusal letter from the immigration office. According to the letter, I only got 65 points. My immigration consultant sent a fax to the office to ask for re-opening my file.(I can get 10 more extra points from an arranged employment). The letter shows all the calucuration they made. It shows that I got 16 points on my English proficiency, which is good because I didn´t take any exam, but sent a letter. However, my workexperience is only calcurated for 3yrs. (sent a proof of over 4yrs experience) Another thing is that my education point was lower than what my immigration consultant and I were expected.

Your case might be totally different from mine. Hope you´ll be fine.

Best of luck

Cat

Please cat post your time line when did you apply, received AOR at what stage you received this letter. Your prompt reply will be highly appreciated. I think opening the file again is a good idea since you have an arranged emplolyment in Canada ..don`t give up man.. all the best

Hi guys, thank you all for your responces.

To Anonymous, I applied as a skilled worker to Buffalo in the middle of July, 2004, got AOR within a month (They started processing my file on the 12th of Aug., 2004). Then after 1 yr of long wait, I got a refusal letter this morning. Between AOR and this morning, I didn´t hear anything from them. I don´t think my time line is useful to you, but hope it gives you some clue.

To Departure boy, yes, I´ve been living in Canada for 5yrs, and yes, I was rejected because of the lack of education point. It´s a long story....

About my arranged employment thing; It´s still been on hold.

I won´t give up!! Thank you guys for your advices.

Best of luck to all of you

hey CAT, after my caculation,65 points , which means they only accept you have a one year diploma or degree, what happened with that? sigh, take care anyway, I bet you are recent post-secondary graduated like me, once you got job offer, it´s regard as arrange employment, no need to do HRDC
