| Subject: family immigration police report |

my son who is in Canada has sponsored us including (wife and two dependants) for immigration to Canada. we had sent our
original documents to Canada embassy at islamabad, this included Police report from karachi (Pakistan )police station .
Since I had lived in Austrailia during my Phd degree and also in Jamshoro as a Professor of Botany , they have now written
that i should send Police reports from Australia , Jamshoro and Hyderabad .
It looks rediculous to me as I was in Australia about forty years ago and Jamshoro and Hyderabad 30 years ago .
It am writing this letter just to seek your advice.

mr hyder i know it looks ridiculous..but can you blame them..for what all is happening in the world in terms of terrorism..especially from middle east and pakistan..im sure youre a moderate muslim with great values ..but they want to make sure from the australian authorities that ur stay there was legitimate ann also im sure hyderabad and jamshoro u can get it as its in ur country if im right..good luck to you..

Every applicant has to provide police clearance from all the countries s/he has lived in for more than 6 months since s/he turned 18.
This rule applies to everyone irrespective of religion, nationality, country of residence etc.

Those are the rules....if you want to come to Canada, follow the rules and get the police reports.
No exceptions!!
