Hi,
Today I checked my e-client status and I was quite surprised to see it changed to "decision made". I am sure it´s a good omen. For the last three months or so I everyday checked with hope and Thanks God! Five years of tumltuous waiting paid off. But I have some basic question to be raised:
Why can´t the governments of developed countries leave off the business of immigration to market forces? Let the market desides who wants to live where. The world is becoming a small village and even today the bureaucratic hurdles are enormous for people who want to move freely across borders. I hope in future a good sense of basic human motive will prevail among the law makers of this world. Present Immigration system smacks of imperialistic tendencies of some of our civilized countries. It may be better than the slave trade but nevertheless it is unequal and antithetical to even what many capitalists preach.
Sorry but folks!, You get philosophical after going through such an ordeal as immigration.......

having people move across borders "freely" isn´t in the best interest of the developed countries.

Here is my rough timeline: I do not know more because my cousin who is an immigration lawyer in Canada represented me. I did not received all communication directly from ambassy but my cousin and he imformed me mostly informly.
My process started in: September 2001
In 2002 I upadted my MBA and MCSD certificates.
In October 2004 i received interview waiver.
Sumitted offer letter in the end of 2004
Submitted Medicals in mid january 2005.
In May 2005 i submitted PCC,Passport and fund statements.
on 9th August my status changed to "decision made".
