Hi All,
I sent our original passports for PR visa stamping (for me and my husband) to CIC Buffalo on July 11, 2005. They received on July 15, 2005. We still didn´t get our passports back. We are In Canada SW applicants. E-client status didn´t change yet. It´s still "In Process".

For all of you awaiting the return of your passports, I wish a speedy return and goodluck. For all those planning or in the process of sending your passports to a center for visa stamp, I recommend making a trip to the consulate in person if possible and get the visa stamped. For Buffalo, NY they will do it on tuesdays and thursdays if you appear in person, provided it is not a holiday. Be prepared to appear early (7:00 AM) and receive the passports same day evening. No room for slackers.......

Hi GC, your e-status has not yet shown "the medicals have been received" even though you have received teh letter for PPR?

Usually, it takes 3 weeks from the time they receive it to the time they stamp the visa. Add some time for mailing aas well!

Hi Long Wait,
yes, it shows "In Process" and then "we started processing your application on June 23, 2004 medical results have been received". Our e-client had been changed to medical received on June 27, 2005 and we received passport request letter on July 7th, 2005.
