  Hi Greg!,
in your previous reply to my post (about the money order) you said that you received your AOR within just weeks. Could you tell us what was special about your application? What do you think made them just do that so fast for you? There had to be something. Could you let us know? Please help us to get our apps all good and actually worth looking at. Yours was obviously done incredibly well. Could you please share with us? Thanks so much.

I was impressed, too. I also sent my app in at the end of July, and didn´t expect to get AOR for maybe a couple of months. But after reading your post yesterday, I got so nervous for the mail to come! :) I even had a dream last night about getting the letter; it was very realistic. Anyway, it sounds like the 3 of us are on the same timeline. It will be interesting to see how it goes!

I honestly don´t know, and was kind of shocked as well. Regarding my application, I filled out everything, inclunding N/A on every damn space not applicable to me. The application is for my family of two children and my wife, so we had a lot of documents from my wife´s divorce from previous marriage, adoption paper (I adopted my step children) transcripts from four different universities, copies of our professional certificates (I´m a teacher, she is a social worker), FBI fingerprint background check, etc.
As my wife and I compiled the application, we paperclipped each section, (job stuff together, transcipts together, passport copies together, etc) and put them in the order that they appear on the checklist.
I don´t know if it matters or not, but I did pay my RPRF as well as my application fee with two different bank drafts, but both were sent with my application.

I express mailed the application on July 18th, my bank told me the money was cashed on July 27th, and I got my AOR in early August. My e-client says it started processing on Aug. 3.

Hope this helps. You know, it might just be happenstance. Also, just because I got my AOR so quickly doesn´t mean the rest will go as quickly.

You two let me know when you get your AOR since we applied as the same time.

Also, I applied as Skilled Worker to Buffalo.

Hmmmm, paper clips.... I stapled related documents together: for example, if a document has two sheets of paper I stapled these sheets together. I hope they don´t get upset. at least nothing came back yet....
I think it was the money that did the trick; you paid the whole darn thing up front (RPRF), so they said, "money! MONEY!! oh, come to papa!", and that was it. darn it, I should have sent that too.... oh, well, too late now. I better start looking forward to next April for my AOR, lol.
greg, thanks for letting us know, and we all are wishing you all the best. we will let you know how ours went (is that ok, wannabecanadian?)
P.S. Im also under a skilled worker in Buffalo.

Yep, same: skilled worker, Buffalo. I sent both fees in at once, too, but I don´t know if it will make a difference or not. I just figured it couldn´t hurt, and it would be one less thing for them to have to ask me for later on. It´s almost time for the mail to come and I´m getting butterflies in my stomach. Will it come today? How horrible! I´ll be in Buffalo in a few days; do you think I should drop by the consulate and see if I can just pick up my AOR then? Ha ha! I´ll let you know if that works...lol!

So the question remains, how did I get my AOR so quickly? DB, do you have any idea? I got it within two and a half weeks of sending the application.

Hey C-25: Didn´t you send your app in about a week after I did? And I think I was about a week behind Greg. So...this should be good news! Watch your mailbox closely next week! :)
