I?m not in UK; I live in Eastern Europe, in one of the poorest countries in this world.

I have never been in England before, but I?m a highly educated person, I have M.Sc. Degree in Mechanical Engineering and I was preparing for my Ph.D just before 2003.
What can we say, it?s the war???!!!!!!!!!

Its nice to hear about your qualification and educational background, What I would Understand about your posting is, you are Iraqi citizen and living In Europe. As you´re well qualified and married person, you have bright chances as SW category.
Yes, I have know about war in Rusia, Bulgaria, Croatia ......etc. Moreover, I´m glad to hear still peoples are involve in heigher eductaion, living with those(War) kind of circumtances.
