My timeline
AOR received Feb 04
IA October 04
Documents sent Nov 04 along with the ROLF fee
Interview was waived in October 04 and they did not ask for IELTS.
I sent them my GMAT score and TOEFL score which were both quite high along with initial application.
ROLF fee was encashed Dec 04
I had just gotten pregnant at the time and I requested that I will do medicals only after the baby was born. They agreed.
Baby born in June 05
New baby added to application July 05 and additional documents sent in July 05.
New baby application processed in CIC within 3 days!! very quick!!

Question :
My first FBI report was dated Jan 2004. They havent yet asked me for the second one yet. I am wondering if I should get it ready and keep it with me incase they ask for it. What is your advice?
I am on a work visa in the USA. I am wondering how long after medicals do you have to wait for PP request for people in USA. It seems like a lot of people in this forum are "Incanada applicants".
Any advice for this forum is appreciated. When you reply please let me know whether you are incanada or inusa applicant.

Medicals sent in July 05...waiting. I understand its 3-4 months after Medicals.

You timelines appear to be remarkably similar to mine(Mar 04) although the processing route seems a bit different.I´m in US applicant.Here is my route:
I too did not submit the IELTS as I had a very high TOEFL & GRE scores but apparently it was not considered and they asked for ielts in mar 05 !!! The other difference was that in my IA (Nov 04)it was mentioned that my file will be transferred to NYC CIC and that interview will be reqd.So when the file was transferrred , the first communication I got was on IELTS as stated above.On submitting that there was another letter in Jun 05 to get the medicals done, send a new FBI report(even though I had submiited it while applying), Passport copies, COPR and all these have been sent in stages by me. There has been no mention of an inetrview up until now and I hope I´m right.So part of my earlier query is same as yours - How much more time after medical & doc submission(in my case Aug 11 all completed)?
Coming back to your question on FBI - if you draw any similarity with my case(where I had submitted the FBI report),you may be better off getting one pro actively. But thats just a suggestion. And one of the other things I did was in respect to the PCC for India. I sent in my application to the Indian NYC CG and got that in 3/4 days. This has not been asked by CIC uptil now but I did it on my own if they asked.
