Subject: My sad story
We sent in to many documents to prove that we are in a real marriage.

Wedding cards
Wedding dress receipt
cards
letters
phone bills (every month)
documents showing I changed my name to his last name
insurance policies
tickets
boarding pass
copy of stamped passport
pictures, lots of it

They are still calling him for an interview because he is younger than me.

Can you believe this? What more could they possibly want as proof?

you are validating my decision that my fiance should come as a Skilled Worker. I am in a similar situation.

How sad that CIC would accept an older man younger woman relationship without blinking an eye. This makes me insanely angry.

There is a 5 year difference. I was so sure that because there was so much proof this would be so easy.

Sharon you are so wrong! Older man younger woman combo will focus on the man´s greed for children. Younger man older woman combo reflects desparation: desparation by the man to get to the land of easy-living and that of woman to have somebody who loved her... even if temporarily. Since we live by the traditional roles of man making money and woman contributing some, it is easier to project a measure of success in the case of old man and young woman (from the man´s earnings), whereas it is very discomforting to do such prognostication in the case of old woman young man since the woman is desparate to begin with! In SW case, the guy might very well dump her as fast as he gets residency and gets to know a few more younger willing women, of which there seems to be no shortage in our surroundings. But you can´t convince SW of these probabilities because she is not normal or her reasoning self while indulging in these carnal pleasures.

Ano....were you dropped on your head as a child???

A 5 year difference is nothing........HEY SW....it is just an interview....tell your husband to answer all the questions as he wrote them on the application and all will be OK. Be truthful and it will be OK.
Calm down and don´t make this worse than it is.

Good Luck

Rachunek, thanks...

It is not so much the interview. It´s the fact that they have so much proof. I am pretty sure I sent in more proof than the average person. I fax them stuff like every month.

It is just unbelievable.

I would not worry too much about it. We will be thinking of your husband and crossing our fingers.
My wife and I sent tons of proof and were lucky to have the interview waived.

GOOD LUCK!!!!
I´ll send you some positive thoughts!
