...as I got my AOR today. I sent out my app August 2nd, they received it August 3rd, and today is August 12. So, 11 days all together. They say they are assessing cases from 36 weeks ago (10 months).
So, wannabecanadian and Greg, here we are again. :-)

And just FYI.... it is in Buffalo, I´m from Europe, skilled worker category, single (for now), H1 in USA, 67 points (as far as I counted it, IELTS scores included).

My fiance just called me, she got her RIR approved notice today (7 months since mid January 05 in Idaho). Is this some cool day or what???? God is really watching over us!

I got my AOR on Aug. 1st (Applied on July 11th). Where can you see ´assessing cases from 36 weeks ago ´ message? is it from receit or online?

wang, the message is on the paper I got from CIC that has the sticker with my case number. It is in the paragraph where they say not to contact them about the status because they are "currently processing cases from 36 weeks ago".

I think that is the standard letter, everybody´s reads, "currently processing cases from 36 weeks ago."

greg and wannabec., isn´t it cool that we are actually talking about when your case is gonna be processed intstead of "did you get your aor", or "what´s the best way to file it", and similar? It´s a nice feeling. greg, are you an american (i know wannabec. is)? just curious....

I did not see the same message on my receit form under ´The next step´ , it only said ´We cannot respond to requests for the status of your application until it has been assessed. It is strange, maybe they have two format of AOR? Anybody else has the same information regarding this issue?
