Family Class Application outside Canada
Does anyone know if the right of landing fee can be paid anytime prior to being granted PR or would I have to wait until the CHC contacts me. I understand that if the fee is not paid at the same time as the processing fee ect it can take an extra 2-months to process. I would obviously like to undertake this process in the shortest time possible. Who would the fee be paid to? where would I get a receipt to pay it?
Any help would be appreciated.

I would recommend you to pay it up front , I paid mine when I sent my application.
I don?t know which embassy is processing your application , but in its website , says all the instructions about the "where" and how the ROLF can be paid.
Hope it helps.

Does...) If rolf has not been paid upfront, the visa will not be issued with the fee paid. They have to contact the sponsor and ask him/her to pay the fees, wait for the fees to be receive then bring up your file then contact the applicant and request to submit the passport for visa issuance.
It´s better to pay upfront to avoid any delays.
