| Subject: Bringing car from US to Canada |
I am moving to canada for good (skilled immigrant) and will be bringing my US car with me. what´s the procedure? I assume I have to notify the US DMV, notify canada immigration/border patrol, and canadian DMV?? anybody who´s done this before please share? any information?? Thanks.

My husband will be bringing his car from the US when he ever gets moved here. We haven´t looked ´too´ far into it yet, but I´m told that the car´s spedometer and odometer MUST show kilometers as well as miles in order to be licensed here. Most of the newer cars have them in both, but some of the older ones only show miles.

not only that but you have to have daytime running lights or something like that...
