  Dear Rana
There is no need to apologies, you didn?t say anything wrong.
If we are talking about Iraqi Shiea Muslims and Sunnies there is difference because they are all Arabs, in my country and according to our traditions we feel that we share the country, with all its history and future.
In Iraq may be the political persons were in most cases are sunnies because they have been chosen by the British to rule the country after the occupation of 1917 but letter Sunnie people forced by local circumstances relating to the nature of their cities to serve in the army (that they live mainly in the western side of Iraq where their cites are on the edge of desert) and to be a high grade officers similar to all countries of the 3rd world, then to be leaders.
Of course I?m talking about men, their women still rural with low percentage of high education.
For shiea, because they live in a luxuriant land between the two rivers, they fell more stabile against future so they used to take a lot of care about their families high education especially women.
These two things made some kind of balance in the Iraqi community that the highly educated shiea women got married with the sunnie men of high positions in the political system and it is still an honour to get married with a sunnie man.
This is the common Iraqi traditions. I?m talking about 45%-65% of shiea women that means 45% - 65% of Iraqi families.
This kind of relationship between Iraqi Sunnie and Shiea affected with an internal factors like challenging each other greedily or by an external factors like the Arabic- Persian historical civilizations challenges.
This last point is the most important thing now for the Iranians are trying to revenge their heavy damage (Iraq ? Iran war 1988 that the Iranian project to export the Islamic shiea revolution towards the Arab land has been defeated) by the hands of Iraqi sunnie leaders and commanders with the Iraqi shiea supports.
Now Iran trying to play with the Iraqi structure in the name of religion and people believes of Shiism.
What happened in my country is a big game of many players, some of them are apparent and clear, the others are insidious and invisible.

My Respect
