Ok... so what time was this... what time zone and which channel would that be in London, Buffalo, or Damascus.

Let me guess- Lou Dobbs? For those who have no idea what DB is talking about - the US has so much undefended border (both Mexico and Canada) they don´t know what to do with themselves. Building a wall sounds like a rational idea.

Not sure which makes them more nervous -how easy it is for a terrorist to gain entry or how many jobs are being taken by Mexicans in search of a better life.

DB... not your most thoughtful post.

oh, they´re not nervous about the jobs taken by mexicans. they want that because they do the jobs americans don´t want and they get 1/10th salary and no benefits.

yep, that´s what I thought either, however, compare with Canadian, it seems that people have no legal way to do that.

Funny thing, their border control might spend time to chase bus boys, construction workers, rather than terrorists.

And they even have people in Texax and Arizona volunteer to patrol border with shoot gun. Right now this organization, I forgot the name, wanna send to border with Canada.

I wonder if Canadian have similiar views as Yankees

DB, the organization is called the Minutmen Project. I read a good article about them in the magazine Mother Jones (July/ August 2005 issue, pages 50-57.) It is interesting because neither the Democrats nor the Republicans know how to stand with this issue.

Also, a low budjet movie worth seeing is "A Day without a Mexican." It is funny, goofy, but somewhat thought provoking about America´s need coupled with distate of latino workers.
