Subject: Cdn citizen moving back with family
  Background:

I am a Canadian citizen married in 1988 in Canada. My children were born in 89´ and 90´ in Canada. My wife is an American citizen, moved to Canada from the U.S. when she was 13 and resided in Canada for 22 years from 1981 (moved to Canada when she was 13) till 2003 when we moved to the U.S. We now want to move back to Canada. When my wife was in Canada, she had her landed immigrant papers that were issued to her when she came to Canada as a child, but we noticed when we were moving that they were expired a long time ago.

Question:

Will there be any problem moving back to Canada with my wife and will I have to apply for landed immigrant status or any VISA´s for her to move back?

Any details are appreciated;
Taurkon

She might have some problems but all these problems will be solvable. You with Canadian citizenship have no problem returning together with your wife and with or without yoru children. Your wife however will probably have to apply for PR.
Good luck,
Jerry

My wife and I are Canadian citizens and have two children born in Canada 92 & 97. We were in US from Jan 1998 and plan to return back end of June to Canada. What papers and requirements do I need? We will be just bringing back our personal belongings and two cars only (which are already used one´s)
Any advise is appreciated,

Whitman
