I am an Indian applied on April 2001 from Paris-France embassy.
On August 2004 received letter stating interview had been scheduled on 14 Oct 2004 and they also mentioned that If you do not qualify under the immigration act your application will then be assessed under IRPA and vice versa.
They have asked regarding following documents also.
1) Originals of Educationsal certificates and diplomas
2) Originals of Work cerificates and other document proving your work experience.
3) Recently issued bank statement
4) Past 6 months statement in which salary is deposited.
5) 3 most recent pay slips.
6) Photo work place
7) Work contract.
Could you guide me what exactly they are going to access. Also guide me how could i get france visa.
Your guidance will be highly appreciated.

My mail is not relavant to ur question and i don´t have any idea about ur scenario. But might be u would suggest me following are my details:
I´ve applied for canadian immigiration from Islamabad since March 2001 following are my time line:
Application Submitted: March 2001
AOR Received: After Fifteen Days
Letter Received 19/09/2003: Required IELTS & Updated Forms
Documents Submitted 10/03/2004: IELTS AND Updated Forms
Another letter received 22/03/2004: Submitted 26/03/2004
Asking Proof of funds and Original
Education Documents
Documents Received 19/05/2004: All original documents received with thier letter
mentioned that your interview is neccessary for further processing of your application
From now i´m waiting for my interview.

FCM - Get CAIPS notes (in reply to: Interview call - help needed)
Hi FCM,
I suggest you get CAIPS notes as soon as possible. You can order the notes from www.caipsnotes.com
From the CAIPS notes you will come to know why you have been called for the interview and so you can prepare accordingly.
As far as obtaining visa for France is concerned I cannot help you.
