I received my CAIPS note, the BDEC is 0, and it does not say when they have started the background check. I saw Hell said she knows from CAIPS that when they have started the BG check on her?
I have also two other questions.
First of all there are four pages that are sent to me, some pages seems to be exactly the same. The strange thing is in some pages it says:
PAPER File sent to PA, File BF´D To MKW ON 31-05-2005 which has already passed. This has been repeated several times.
But at the end of the first page it says:
PAPER File sent to PA, File BF´D To MKW ON 10-10-2020
Which is very strange!!!!
the other problem is with my medical;
the medical stage is M03 for me.
"may need periodic medical care"
I am wondering how seroius is this?
My total score was 77 by the way.

Hey Calvin:
Glad that you received you caips notes. Do not give much emphasis on the BF´D (10-10-2020 is very strange though). Your file will be looked at once your bchk results are in.
Do you have any health problem? Why is it M03? I have a friend whose 5 year old son has some health problem (not sure what is his medical code). It has been three years he is trying to resolve the issue with CIC. Seems like now they are convinced and issue him PPR soon.
I do not think your application would be rejected because of medical reasons. Just pray and you would be fine.

The problem is called Haematuria, and means blood cells in urine. I had this problem for many years. When I came to canda , I did lots of blood test, urine test, MRI from kidney, and finally the speciallist sent CIC the letter, that it is nothing. Last year I did urine test again, after my doctor saw the result, asked me to do a complete test and then he said it is nothing to worry about. It is a little strange that they issued M03 for such a small matter.

Hi Calvin:
Do not be worried much about your medicals - as you said it is a minor issue. I am sure your case will be finalised as soon your bchk is completed. As you can see from your caips, your file was asessed on 1-05-2005 and your bchk was not completed until that time.
As we do not have any control on this stupid procedure, better take a break and concentrate on other things.

Hi Calvin:
Good to know your caips. It gave you an idea for your next.
First, your application will not get rejected BECAUSE different test results have shown no pathological conditions. Put your heart in place and relax!
Secondly, it might take an extra while for CIC to convince you are alright. A little bit sad but the reality is as it is. Better to postpone your PhD defence just in case.
Regarding your haematuria, I think you must know much detail about the possible causes. To my best knowledge, it may not have a definite cause. Have you tried to take urine sample as soon as AFTER ENOUGH rest like lie down on bed for days as long as you can? If not, try to see if it works to have your urine test negtive. I know it sounds wasting time for a PhD student.

Hi Calvin: can you find a physician speaking your mother language in your living area? Better consult them to get better understanding of haematuria. Your health is no.1 priority than anything else!

sometimes documents are a cause for delay.

calvin about your medicals; I had the same problem, my DMP found toxins in urine. She recommended me to drink a whole litre of orange juice or a litre of water 2 hrs before lab test. I redid the test after water therapy. Urine test came perfect with no toxins blood etc present.
Sometimes DMPs are all after money and speed, they dont care and send lab results to CIC without minor advices and suggestions. All this add to doubts, and future delays in my opinion.

Well, Thank guys;
I know for fact that the amount of blood in urine decreses, when I stop physical activities, luke tennis and jugging. Last time I stopped these actvities for a week and went for another urine test and the amount of blood was negligible.
As I said I have already talked to two speciallist regarding this issue, and they said its nothing to worry about. I read lots of documents on the web, and as Long-wait said sometimes the cause is unclear. ...
I´m not sure but I hope they dont ask for more tests...

Don´t worry, even if you medicals code is M03, I don´t think that you will need to do any additional tests, otherwise you would be asked to do it already. You´ll be fine.

Somebody on this forum mentioned, that it discribes the background cheking, I might be wrong, if it´s so- correct me, please, because CAIPS notes are mystery.
Also, don´t worry about BFDs, they change often: in our CAIPS from June it was April 2006, in August - Sept 2005. What you have- I think just typo.
