Subject: Entering HK (Canadian Citizen)
I am a Canadian Citizen, holding a dual passport (Canadian & Foreign). I am thinking of heading to HK after my trip to Singapore and heading back to Canada via Hong Kong. I would like to enter Hong Kong with my Canadian Passport instead of my Foreign Passport. I am wondering if Hong Kong Immigration would let me enter with my valid Canadian Passport but with my exit stamp from Singapore on my foreign passport. Would Hong Kong let me into their country for 3 days for holiday and leaving back to Canada after?

That should not be a problem (in reply to: Entering HK (Canadian Citizen))
I have travelled a lot and the country you visit does not care which passport you get your stamp on. Three things to care about

1) Show that passport for exit which you had used to enter that country.

2) If you are visiting a country such as Taiwan, China or the US and you have their passport, you better enter using that passport and not your Canadian passport. Its against their law.

3) If you visit some other South Asian Country such as India, Pakistan, Iran, etc, always use your Canadian passport for entry even if you have that countrys passport. There is no law requiring you to use that countrys passport an by using Canadian Passport you are assured if sh#$ hits the fan in those unstable countries Canada can get you out safely.

Ciao.
