This is not a good news for a lot us applicants at buffalo. The tables have turned - only a year back when I applied majority of cases were clearing in 15-18 months.

This is going to put a lot of applicants again like me waiting after medicals. It has been 9 months since my medicals and I´m waiting to hear anything from CIC.

It surely looks a lot of us are going to have to take the medicals again. There goes about 400 US and about 5-6 months further delay and not to mention a lot of the plans up in the sky.

I feel that CIC should not send out medicals if they are not ready to issue papers if medicals clear. They have been taking extra time on BG checks I believe. They should clear IA and BG check and only then issue medicals.

Well I don´t know what the rest of you in similar situation feel about it - but I surely feel a whole darn bad..

Flavor of the month seems to be Asia and Europe. There seems no stopping to how fast applications are being processed there.

The Americas are being pushed aside i guess.

Is it to do with any local elections in Canada? Seems to please their local or recent citizens they are pushing applications from countries like Eastern Europe Block, China, India
