Subject: Sending IELTS, FBI results w/app vs. sending later
Is there any advantage of sending the IELTS scores, FBI certi, etc with the PR application ...versus sending them later? Perhaps shorter processing time?

Can anyone who´s done either process care to share your experiences?

When you send everything together, it tends to speed up the processing time.
If you can send everything together, do it....it will help.

Good luck

Do not waste time, send whatever you have and start getting the rest ASAP.

I don´t know if there is an agreement in this forum. Some write that the more you have with your application, the quicker the process is. Others disagree. I think the more you have already when you send the application, the less time there is when they have to send you a letter asking for your IELTS, FBI cards, etc, then they wait for yout to get the test, then you wait for the resutls, then you send it the results. Ultimately, it probably doesn´t matter in terms of time to process.

FBI cards (in reply to: Sending IELTS, FBI results w/app vs. sending later)
The FBI cards are good for six months, but can delay your application when you finally get the IA. You might want to estimate your IA and order the FBI cards a month or two in advance. If you do not need them, then you are only out $18 if you need to reorder. With all the money and time you invest in this process, I think it is worth it.

Send all/every documents possible with the application packet initially for the first time especially FBI and police certificates, IELTS can wait for later if you think that would help you apply sooner by giving IELTS later, but if you dont have your IELTS then dont worry send in your application but in the meanwhile dont wait and sit for CIC to ask your for IELTS, even if they dont ask or before they ask for it you take IELTS and send it without them even asking be proactive (this will save lot of time). As far as FBI and police certs from home country go, please do send it with the application ( I stress this because sending these early on would fast forward your background/security/criminal checks and thats my advise
