Subject: Does a person with Epilipsy is inadmissable
My sister and her husband are to under go their medical exam in few days. They applied from USA. My sister is suffering from minor eplipsy (seizure not more than twice a year and sometimes no seizures for years). How is that going to effect their admissability. Does doctors check your medical history from different hospitals. In America hospitals keep all the mediacl history on file and it can be accessed. Since they applied from USA and hospitals in USA has her medical history so i was wondering if Medical Officer will look for previous history or not. Because epilipsy can not be noticed unless you inform your doctor or they get information from previous history. Should my sister inform the doctor about her medical condition (epilipsy). Thanks for your time.

She has to inform them about it.....if they somehow find out she did not tell them, she could be in trouble.
I am not sure if it would make her inadmissable but I think if it can be controlled, it will be OK.

Good luck

I think it should not be a problem. I would suggest it is good to disclose to her DMP during the medical examination. Should be OK.
