I think its possible (in reply to: applying both for federal and provincial nomineee)
Hi there, How r u ?

From my experience, i submitted my application for immigration to Canada for the Federal Gov. since 2000, because it took so long till now without having the interview date (my case is complicated) i submitted a QUESTIONAIRE for QUEBEC immigration services and I explained every thing about my first application to the Federal Gov. after all this they sent me a new application for Demande de Selection as they call it. so in all cases your application will be transfered to federal after all, because you need to have the approval from Quebec in order to obtain the visa. the visa in general issued from the Federal immigration dept. but i want to ask you who told you it will be in short time to go to quebec, please try to have up-to-date information about this matter. and I think its better to wait for the Federal because u already submitted ur applicantion there.
Good luck
