My partner and I have been in a conjugal relationship for 9 months and lived together most of that time, in Australia. Since his Visa expired 8 months into our relationship, he had to return to England, his home country. I am ending my visa in Australia early to go see him for a month. I am a Canadian citizen and wish for my partner and I to live together in Canada (preferably with his arrival in December 2005, since that will be 1 year we have been in a relationship). He does not need a visitor visa to come to Canada because his is a British citizen, but for him to get permanent residence, I will have to sponsor him as my conjugal partner? is it better to get him to Canada, get married and then sponsor him as my spouse? please help!!

(in reply to: sponsoring partner from UK to Canada) get married. Conjugal is not proving to be a very good option based on various postings on this forum.
