Subject: Any advice??? |

Hi All,
I am a victim of a mistaken identity and was arrested a few years back for estafa. The case was Dismissed because I am not the person who was charged of this act, I just happen to have the same name as that of the real suspect. However, there were records of me but I was never convicted. I am also able to secure a Police Clearance/Certificate which is needed for my sponsorship.
Will this affect my sponsorship at all???
I am worried. Your advice will be highly appreciated.
Thanks alot!

(in reply to: Any advice???) Hm, nobody likes cases like this, but if you are inocent you should be fine.
Good luck you will need it... :)

Dismissal of case (in reply to: Any advice???) I´m also an amateur. But I think that you could also attach a copy of the Court Order of Dismissal (or something similar).
I guess the Police certificate should only be concerned if there is a record of conviction, which in your case is non-existent, in as far as it relates to this particular case.
