Subject: Indian Applied through Paris, France
  Please go through the following and help me out.
Applied in April 2001
1) English Proficiency and
2) Change in Employement, Education, Address and financial status provided as asked by them.
Now received letter for Interview for which i have to go to Paris to attend the interview.

They asked for following documents to carry over and above submitted as per IMM0008
1) Originals of Education certificates and diplomas.
2) Originals of Work certificates or other documents proving work experience.
3) Recently issued proof of financial resources bank statement.
4) Past 6 months bank statement in which salary is deposite.
5) 3 most recent pay slips
6) Photos of work place.
7 )Work contract.

I have all the documents as they are facts but i don´t know how i can convience the france embassy for getting the visa for attending the interview.

Shall i reveal the fact that visa needed to attend the interview or shall i apply for visitor visa without revealing about interview.

Your advice is needed on the same.
Please help me.

I think you should tell them the purpose of your trip. The main thing a consulate would look for is weather you have the capacity to go to a foreign country and travel there AND weather at the end of your travel period would you leave the country.

Now if you go and tell the France embassy that you want to Go to Paris to attend the interview at the Canadian Embassy for immigration purpose one thing is sure that you have enough money ($9420 for 1 person)to show that you can go and come back. Secondary... your main aim is to go and settle in Canada and you will not settle back in France. ( also there is a language barrier unless you are good with French.

So in this case... Its advisable that you do let the French Embassy know what the purpose... Your are not going there for a crime and so you should be okey with it...
