you guys make me crazy. How many quotas for how many catagories of applicants for how many embassies. Statements like NOBODY WILL GET PR THIS YEAR or a generic ´QUOTA IS FULL´ has got to be the most irresponsible thing anyone can say on this forum.
THINK a little bit! Look how many posters on this forum have been thrown in a tizzy over the last 48 hours because of one letter that we have no knowledge of context, embassy or category.
Before making CIC wide proclaimations, do some research and consider the impact of what you say.

No, Canada´s immigration system does not contain any provisions for a quota by which a maximum number of applicants from any given region are allowable. Applications are treated on a first-come-first-serve basis.
I´m aware that this site isn´t the absolute athority on immigration but it convinces me that someone is talking out of their ass!
