Hi, I submitted my application for PR nearly 9 months ago but still can´t get any response out of the online status of appication section on the CHC (UK) website. I´m guessing this is due to the backlog of applications being worked through so that mine hasn´t been started yet. I did receive a receipt (IMM5401) so I know it has been received.
Although I don´t expect to get a final answer for another year or more Is there any way I can tell when processing of my application starts?

Sorry, as far as I know, there is no way. You can follow people´s timelines at www.yogi799.com, but other than that applicants are left in the dark. It is not a very pleasant situation, but what can you do?
