If this site is true, then given the backlog and approvals for Buffalo....I estimated that if you for AOR your application for economic class in Nov 04 (AOR), and everything is smooth (no hick-ups), you will get PP in March 06 (given and take 30 days). That´s almost 18 months as posted on CIC website for 30% of applications.

Hence, there is a quote system...they call it target.

Will be happy to calculate approximate timelines for anyone..given me office post of application and AOR month. Clean straight applications...not with any issues.

Again, this is my feeling and understanding. It is helping me understand the delays and nothing else. I am glad to help but take it with lots of salt.

Thanks!

We got our AOR (Buffalo) in Nov.2003 as SW + wife(SW), waiting for PPR now. it´s 22 months for us already.

Hell -

I don´t have the backlog numbers for 2003, but extrapolating for 2004, I believe you should have had your PP request in March/April this year. Must be something else going on....

Again, these are very rough calcuations. Hundreds of other factors come into play. Hang in there!

don´t the hundreds of factors throw your calculations out the window. when we only look at best case scenarios we cause people incredible angst the minute something is 1 day longer than predicted.

Sharon - It does´nt throw anything out of the window. It gives me hope!

Again, take it as a hope. I would rather have hope than be hopeless and at mercy of someone else .... It gives me some idea when to get back to CIC and not trouble them unncessarily.
