Hi Rizi,
Today, I received a letter from CHC-New Delhi requesting the passport of my spouse. As I promised, I am updating you. I didn´t receive any acknowledgement and directly received the passport request.

For me its a long wait!!!. I send my application to CPC-M 2 days back.

Application received by CPC-Mississauga : June 16th
Application approved and sent to CHC-New Delhi : July 15th
Application received by CHC-New Delhi : July 20th
Passport request sent on August 2nd. I received it today as it was sent to me in Canada by regular mail from New Delhi.

usually it means that your application has been rejected and they will put a stamp in your passport indicating such. Sorry!!!

Congrats Sumit! Atlast your wait is over and I am still hanging in there waiting to hear from CHC New Delhi. Thanks for the update! And one last thing update me as soon as your spouse gets passport stamped.
I am still surprised why did they send the passport letter request to you in Canada instead of sending it to your spouse in India. Is it normal?

No idea why they sent here. They would passport in India however. I would certainly keep you posted Rizi.
