Subject: Please HELP |

I was in USA for the last 4 years. I got back to my home country and interested to immigrate to Canada. So far I know, I need to get US-police/FBI clearance report since I lived there for more than six months. My question is how to obtain that clearance as I don?t live in USA anymore. If i were in USA I could go to local police station or Dept. of Motor Vehicles and get fingerprinted. After that i could send the fingerprint card to FBI. Now suppose i get the blank fingerprinting card from USA and then put my fingerprints on the card, how FBI will know if it was really my fingerprint or someone else´s. Please advice...
Thanks

Contact USA (in reply to: Please HELP) You need to contact USA Authorities as you lived there and their procedure might be different than ours in Canada.
I hope it works out for you.

Fingerprinting (in reply to: Please HELP) Hi Kamruzzaman.
As a Canadian immigration advisor, I help people solve problems like this one all the time. And while I can not tell you where to go for fingerprinting, atleast, not without some research, I can tell you what I would do in this circumstance.
I would start by contacting local police authorities and related government services (including the American embassy to your country, and/or the FBI), and ask them for insight on what is required in your case. Unless you live on the moon, there should be a local service provider for performing fingerprinting acceptable to the US authorities.
Good luck.
Sincerely,
