My destination as per COPR is Vancouver, however I have got some good opportunity in Alberta.
I would like to know that if i land at Toronto and then without going outside the airport I take connection flight to Calgary, would my immigration be processed at Toronto or Calgary?
Are there more friendly or less friendly landing destinations? i dont expect any measured responses to this part of my query however personal opions based on first hand experiences would be most detrimental in gauging the "friendliness".

You may land where ever you want in Canada except QUEBEC.
I have heard that Immigration officers are friendly and they work with integrity regardless the port of entry , it is a very straight forward procedure as long as you have all the proper documentation with you at the time you arrive at the Canadian airport.

thanks Andy (in reply to: Port of Landing) Thank you indeed, Andy. I appreciate your clear answer to my query.
however, my first question was; would immigration processing be done at Toronto or Calgary, if we are taking a connecting flight i.e., we are not going out of Toronto airport.
The reason for asking this is, that we need to schedule our flight from Toronto to Calgary beforehand, if immigration processing would be done at Toronto then we have to keep time margin for our next flight.

(in reply to: Port of Landing) It would be done at Toronto Airport. And it does not alot of time in welcoming process.
