| Subject: how do you guys think about RN or LPN career? |

Hi, I am a middle 20s male, hopefully my PR gotta process without backbone. What I am thinking is what kind of career will be suitable for me.
First, I live in Vancouver Island. Feel better here more than sex.
For no matter what kind of reasons, I am not going to move out of Vancouver Island, no matter what, this is my home, my adapted hometown, live in here, die here, no matter what.
However, there are limited opportunities for young people with degree.
I have a Bachelor degree in Tourism Management from public institution in Canada. So far, my current job only brings me below average Canadian household income, which isn´t bad if you are a single, just wanna pay bills.
well, I guess immigrants like me all have a dream, something like have a nuclear family, two kids, house, a dog, reliable K car, of course a lovely cute wife.
How do you guys think Registered Nurse or Practical Nurse, for sure, like retire heave here, Vancouver Island, they need a lot of nurses. I like helping people and talking to public. My current job makes me talk in very loud voice all the time, I have confidence to face public and make jokes sometime.
Most important thing, I want to find some job I can work, then I don??t have to worry about pay bills or if I have enough money to mortgage my dream house. I don??t think I will be a successful business people, when you think about Chinese, right ? usually people will image my neighbor Wong is a corner store owner, my classmate Chang??s daddy own a Chinese buffet. Me, I am not those kind of person, I really hate to be a self-employ, don??t wanna those pressure, no time to spend with kids and family or go to do some community work. My dream job, hopefully it??s a union job with good retirement package and vacation plan, company pension; I really wanna put my passion into it.
My question is how about become Vancouver Island Gaylord Folker?
How do you guys think about nursing major?

It´s excellent way to go. Nursing is a highly paid profession in North America. Go right ahead sir.

my previous graduated college got both LPN and RN program, once I got my PR, i will work part-time on my current job and go back to college with student loan.
Miss college so much, those dumb blondes and party, drink!

yep, if I need enroll into nursing, have to pass provincial in the coming Dec, Grade 12 english(I don´t have it, that´s why I am retaking it right now) Grade 12 Biology (human science). Math is so easy here.
Well, no more weed, it´s over, no more late fee!@!!
need brain cell!!
one more thing, after I watch ER, really wanna be a nurse.

I don´t understand why DB you always joke around, be serious ok? maybe in real life you are sad i guess, that´s why you joke around in the cyber world. A lot of jokes are so offensive, don´t try to be a white jerk!

DB is great! Why are you trashing DB...humour is great...more people need to be light hearted.....the world is serious place and if you dont take time to laugh once and awhile, you will become sick.
Sit back and ask yourself why you are so angry at the world and DB. Maybe you hate yourself...maybe you need to laugh...watch a comedy...think of a good joke.....
BUT leave DB alone....if you hate him so much...stop reading his posts.
