Hi guys,
I had appled for immigration on Oct 2004, got file number on jan 17/2005. I was suppose to get medicals by August 2005 but not received any information from buffalo. At the same time had applied for caips and it said "PAPER FILE SENT TO AGL FILE BF´D TO: PPS ON 17-01-2006". Can anyone advice me what exactly i should do now so that my file is assessed from next month (hope so) and what is the meaning of the term AGL which was mentioned in my file from caips.

your paper file was sent to the officer AGL (his initials).
Next time your file will be opened (BF´D = bring forward date) by PPS (another officer´s initials) on Jan 01, 2006.
Don´t worry, the dates are really approximate, could be forwarded earlier.

Getting CAIPS notes before IA (Initial assessment) is completely useless.
