| Subject: When i will recive my visa |

I recived medical and Residence fee notice on interview day. Doctor has been send my result on 30/08/2004 and i also have been send my fee reciept to CIC. There was also a short notice in my envolpe which give me by visa officer with title "Important Notic" under this topic was written "Submit all requested documents,passport and fee (if aplicable) once you have completed your medical instructions". So i have also posted my original passport with fee receipt. Now, i m waiting. Can someone guide me when i will recive my visa...

Hi ,
I guess u shd be hearing from the visa office after they recieve the med clearence. I am not sure which visa office u r dealing with,I had submitted my meds in Mid Aug still hvnt heard from them. Also the visa officer during my interview informed me that they will let me know when they hv the med approvals and then i shd come with my passport and landing fees fr stamping. Since I live in NYC and the consulate is in the same city I opted to come and drop off /and pick up my passport. They said they will give me my passport back in one day´s time...lets see.
I hv also another question,I believe the Canadian Guys do some background chk over and above the FBI and the Police Clearence. Do you know if yours is done already. I believe we hv to do nothing abt this it is a process that they do simultneously ......
